So today was the day Ben got his cast off. I thought it would be a relatively easy procedure and Ben would be as good as new and he could once again be his independent self. Nope. Ben freaked when they used the saw even though he saw that it couldn't cut his skin. He screamed and it didn't seem to come off very easily so he screamed for a very long time. Then once it was off I figured he would walk (maybe a little wobbly because he wasn't used to it.). Nope. Ben refuses to walk. Perhaps the healing power of milk will come to my rescue as Ben so nicely put "I'll walk after I have some milk because it will strengthen my bones." We can only hope.

I can relate with Ben...when I got my cast off of my arm, I was extremely nervous when the saw came out. Poor guy.
I can also relate...that saw is freaky. Emilio cried when his cast came off too. Hopefully the milk will help. :)
