Time Together

Marc and I were able to spend the last couple of days together as Grandpa and Nana wanted to have the kids. We had a great time just enjoying being together. Friday evening we went out for a fabulous dinner and then just hung out and did some window shopping. Saturday we spent the better part of the day looking at minivans. We've come to the realization that we just need something bigger. Summer is approaching and we love to camp....can't really do that in our car. We went from Surry to Richmond to Vancouver to Port Coquitlam and found some good vans and some not so good vans. We enjoyed an awesome lunch at the Mongolie Grill and even managed to get to Mountain Equipmount Co-op as well. Today (Sunday) we went to church, grabbed some lunch and headed to Cultus Lake. It was a lovely day and we thoroughly enjoyed the quiet, not that we don't love our kids...but quiet can be a wonderful thing.

Now we have to sell Marc's car (1997 Honda Civic if you're interested) and get our finances together so we can purchase a minivan. We are buying used and I think after this weekend we've done our research and have a good idea of what we like. Here's a couple of pics of two that we like. Mazda MPV and Dodge Grand Caravan.

Sounds like fun...I don't know what I'd do with myself if I had a weekend "off"...I think the silence would kill me. :) By the way...we have friends that have had both minivans and from their experiences, I would totally go for the Dodge Grand Caravan; seems that the Mazda gave them way too many problems. Now, if you're buying a new one, it shouldn't matter right? Because I'm assuming that the warranty would cover everything. :)

You are selling Marc's car? I thought it was yours that was giving you trouble.
